For many decades we have been observing Earth and became fascinated with the nostalgic aspects of your culture.  We determined that living among you was going to be difficult, so in order to enjoy the golden era of your Hollywood movie culture, we would have to invade and conquer your planet

Thus the plan began.  We staged a WAR OF THE WORLDS when we attempted to take over the entire planet, only to be stopped by viruses that we were not immune to.  Then in 1962, on THE DAY MARS INVADED THE EARTH (again) we made a second attempt at invading Earth by blending in with your society, but unfortunately, this also failed.

In 1968, another relentless attempt to undermind your society was launched, when it was determined that MARS NEEDS WOMEN.  Therefore, we captured your women and transported them back to our planet for breeding purposes.

Realizing that your old Horror and Sci-Fi films have become obscure, we have launched our most sinister plan to date.  We have begun to teleport your old films and nostalgic collectibles back to our planet for our own entertainment.

This means if you delay in obtaining these films and collectibles, you may never be able to find them again on this miserable little planet...for...MARS NEEDS VIDEOS AND COLLECTIBLES.

Mars Needs Videos & Collectibles is a Public Domain Distributor specializing in rare hard-to-find

horror and sci-fi films, TV shows, and movie memorabilia from the golden age of cinema.   

VHS Format

Our VHS tapes are recorded in the SP mode (NTSC only) using video masters that were produced from the best available film elements (usually direct from 16 or 35 mm prints).

DVD-R Format

Our DVD-R’s are recorded in FR mode (NTSC only – Region 1) using DVD masters produced from the best available original film elements (usually direct from 16 or 35 mm prints).  All DVD titles include a color clam-shell case displaying original one sheet poster art and lobby card displays.  DVDs also include various features: original theatrical trailers, vintage cartoons, movie documentaries, drive-in ads, and coming attractions.

We produce all our DVD’s on DVD-R.

We also provide a vast DVD collection of classic horror and sci-fi trailers (coming attractions from the 1930s through 1960s), which includes original drive-in and 50’s spook show ads.

Mars Collective specializes in vintage movie collectibles concentrating on the classic horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres from yesteryear.  Our collection includes rare original items include genre related movie posters, lobby cards, trading cards, movie magazines, and comics autographed material.
